This outfit is mostly thrifted.  The shirt is old and the jewelry is Lia Sophia.

Fashion under $10.  The pants (Eddie Bauer – $1.99), the belt (NWT – Target – $1.99) and the shoes (Bakers New – $3.99).  It’s amazing that you can have an outfit for around $10.  That’s incredible if you ask me.

Shop your closet.  One of the things that I’m trying to do is to incorporate some older pieces from my closet.  I wasn’t crazy about this shirt because it’s a bit big on me now (nothing a belt can’t fix), and it’s a bit long.  But I’m happy with this styling.  This shirt was going to get donated, but I’m starting to like it again. I’ll give my pieces another styling try before they go off to Goodwill.

Styling is a topic that I’m totally new to, but spending a few minutes a day looking through some fashion blogs really makes a difference.  Pinterest too!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  🙂

I’m linking up with these great blogs today:  Rae Gun Ramblings, Still Being Molly, The Pleated Poppy, Rolled Up Pretty, Sailor Spy,  Harpers HappeningsReal Girl Glam and Frugally Sustainable.

  1. I don’t think I would even know how much I like clothes if I didn’t thrift. I usually find things that are WAY more inspiring than what I find in-store and I’m super cheap–er, frugal–so I wouldn’t be able to own what I do. I’m loving that adorable zebra belt and the red+white combo is striking!

    1. Thank you…and I agree with you..thrifting has actually re-inspired me to love fashion…at first I wasn’t shopping for myself at all and just shopping for the kids…but now I’m addicted…LOL
